Student Organizations

Student activities and organizations promote social, mental, physical and spiritual development. Participation contributes to a wholesome, stable, and balanced personality.
Secret societies, exclusive organizations and fraternal organizations are not permitted. The following organizations and activities presently operate on campus.

Alumni Associations

The association's primary purpose focuses on graduates and former students, but the Association sponsors many activities that are a benefit to students. Associate member invitations are extended to students who have completed one semester's enrollment at the College. Spouses of Alumni Association members are also eligible for associate membership.

SGA

SGA officers include a president, a vice-president, a secretary, and a treasurer who are elected by the students to handle student affairs in certain social and spiritual programs. Also, each class elects its own officers.

SPF

This organization is open to all students interested in promoting preaching activities. The organization sponsors prayer and preaching sessions and off-campus preaching opportunities. The organization emphasizes prayer support for new churches and encourages its members to become involved in such work upon graduation.

SMA

SMA members emphasize the work of missions among the students of the College. Included in this are prayers for missionaries and their ministries, providing useful information to students training for missions, and coordinating missions programs on and off campus. Students have prayer meetings and feature veteran missionary speakers in special meetings. SMA works in close relationship with the World Baptist Fellowship Mission Agency to promote missions. Membership in SMA is open to all students.

LIFT

LIFT is a women’s group for married and single ladies of the student body. These ladies meet regularly to pray and to study God’s Word. In addition, LIFT provides opportunities for community service activities and Christian fellowship. The purpose of LIFT is to strengthen ministry skills and to build lasting relationships among women of faith.

4 12 Group

Operating from the principles of I Timothy 4:12, The 4:12 Group exists to provide positive, challenging opportunities for the student youth minister who wishes to develop Christian character and skills necessary in modeling Christ while meeting the needs of today’s youth through serving in the local church. The 4:12 Group welcomes both men and women and equips them for youth ministry through regular prayer meetings, encouraging discussions, innovative ideas and helpful resources. Members of the Group receive hands-on experience by becoming actively involved as guest speakers, assistants and helpers for area youth ministries.
