Dr. D.L. Moody
COLLEGE PRESIDENT PROFESSOR
D.L. Moody is a native Texan. He grew up in Lamar County , north of Paris Texas . He graduated from North Lamar High School in 1977. He graduated from Arlington Baptist College with a BA in 1983. He completed a Masters Degree at Moody Graduate School in Chicago , IL and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Covington Theological Seminary. Dr. Moody is the President of the Arlington Baptist College. He assumed the presidency of "ABC" June 2009. Pastor Moody has had pastorates in Paris, Texas (6 years), served in administration of Arlington Baptist College for 16 years,12 years as Dean of Students, and has been the pastor of Pleasantview Baptist Church, Arlington, TX since 1994 (ten of these years were concurrent with position at Arlington Baptist). He continues to teach on faculty in the pastoral ministry department at ABC. He lives in Mansfield , Texas with his wife Sherry and two children – Joshua and Hali. |
