Dr. David Bryant
COLLEGE PRESIDENT
PROFESSOR
Dr. David Bryant was born September 10, 1946 in Dayton Ohio. He married his high school sweetheart, Vickie on September 9, 1967. He became a Christian in 1967 while serving in the Armed Forces of the U.S.A. (Army) in Newport News, Virginia. He was called to the ministry July of 1967. Dr. Bryant moved to Texas July 1969 to attend Bible Baptist Seminary. Presently Dr. David Bryant is the President of the Arlington Baptist College, a four-year, fully accredited Bible College. His hobbies include golf, hunting, and fishing.
EDUCATION
Dr. David Bryant attended Arlington Baptist College were he graduated as the Salutatorian in May of 1972. He received his Master of Theological Studies degree from Louisiana Baptist Theological Seminary, in Shreveport, Louisiana. He received his Doctorate of Divinity Degree from Baptist Christian College, in Shreveport, Louisiana.
EXPERIENCE
Dr. David Bryant served as Associate Pastor of the Victory Baptist Church in Weatherford, Texas from October of 1969 through September of 1972. He then served as Pastor of the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Crane, Texas from October 1972 through April 1977. He was called to Pastor the Bible Baptist Church in Wichita Falls, Texas from May 1977 through August 1993, and he also, served as the Administrator of Bible Baptist Christian School (K-12) for the same period of time.
Dr. David Bryant presently teaches Bible Doctrine and Ecclesiology on campus. He has also taught Systematic Theology I & II, as well as General Epistles and Revelation.
Dr. David Bryant served on the Board of Directors for the Arlington Baptist College from May 1980 through May 1993. He then assumed the Presidency of "ABC" in May 1993.
Dr. David Bryant currently travels for nine months every year (week-ends and five weeks every summer) with the Arlington Baptist College Ensemble to represent the College ... Saying "Thank You" to supporting churches, recruiting students, and workers for the cause of Christ. See Ensemble |
