DISTANCE EDUCATION
ADJUNCT - PROFESSOR
Personal
I accepted Christ as a child and since have felt a desperate need to share the message of Christ with others in addition to training fellow servants of the Lord. I am thankful for the Lord’s leading me in His service as I received the opportunity to attend Arlington Baptist College straight out of high school. After graduating from ABC I began my studies at Dallas Baptist University where I earned a Master’s Degree in Counseling. Currently, Lord willing, I plan to begin my doctorial work at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in July 2008. In addition to these blessing the biggest blessing of all would be the Lord allowing me to be the pastor of Lakeside Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas since 2004.
My Family
The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful wife and two beautiful children. Jennifer and I have been married since 2001 and I thank God for the help mate He has given me. In 2003 the Lord blessed us with our first child whose name is Drew. Two years later in 2005 the Lord gave us another special blessing with the birth of our second child Madison who is 2 years of age.
Professional
I joined the faculty of Arlington Baptist College in 2004 and have enjoyed the many relationships the Lord has allowed me to build. My position as an adjunct professor at ABC has allowed me to experience a number of the different outlets in higher education. I have taught Adolescent Psychology, and Marriage and Premarital Counseling on campus. In addition to the on campus teaching I have authored and taught the online courses: Pentateuch Genesis, Adolescent Psychology, Bible Study Methods, Life of Christ I & II, with a few more on the way! While at ABC I have had the distinct honor and privilege of working with the Distance Education program in the capacity of distance education professor for on campus students. The Lord has allowed many wonderful opportunities while serving here at ABC and I look forward to the possibilities He still has for me. |
