MATHEMATICS ENRICHMENT PROGRAM

We at Arlington Baptist College are excited to offer a Math Enrichment Program to your child. In a collaborative effort with several Christian schools in the area, our Education Majors conduct a 10 week program with 1st through 4th graders aimed at helping children to expand their math skills and cultivate their love of learning. This is not necessarily a tutoring time, but rather a time to explore all aspects of mathematics.

The Math Enrichment Program will be held one night a week this spring. You may enroll your child for the Thursday night sessions. The Enrichment Program is for 10 weeks from __________ to _________. New program dates to be announced soon.

You will bring your child to the campus of the College from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. During that hour, each of the Education Department students will work with a small group of four/five children, conducting a wide variety of activities, to help increase math skills.

Enrollment is limited to a total of 15 children for the Thursday night sessions. There is an “Enrollment and Materials” fee of $35 for each child in the program. Also, it is essential that participants in the program be able to commit to all 10 sessions of the class.
