CM 1000. CHRISTIAN SERVICE. NO CREDIT HOURS
All students taking four semester hours or more must complete all freshmen level Christian Service requirements during the freshman year.
CM 1100. FIELD PRACTICE 1 CREDIT HOUR
The student will be directed in a variety of activities that will make use of principles used in the classroom. These activities may include publications, campaigns, promotions, research, surveys, work in the field, and related activities. Supervised instruction in techniques and procedures will be included, and the course will combine classroom experience with participation in a project.
CM 1103. CREATIVE COMMUNICATION OF THE GOSPEL I
This special interest class offers students an communicating the Gospel.
CM 1104. CREATIVE COMMUNICATION OF THE GOSPEL II
This is a continuation of the first course in methodologies for communicating the Gospel.
CM 1200. PUBLICATIONS. 2 CREDIT HOURS
The primary function of this course is to produce the Arlington Baptist College yearbook which will include portraying Arlington Baptist College campus life and interests. Students in this class will learn the necessary skills for producing bulletins, tracts, newsletters, and other church-related publications.
CM 1203. SOUL WINNING. 2 CREDIT HOURS
This course is designed to equip students with the tools necessary for carrying out the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). The broad scope of the course enables students to become informed and prepared in four major areas: a proper relationship with unbelievers, methods of evangelism, discipleship and growth (spiritual and numerical).
CM 1310. PERSONAL LIFE AND EVANGELISM. 3 CREDIT HOURS
Students will examine the principles of Christian living and how they relate to effective witnessing. Evangelism is defined and methods of evangelism are examined from their scriptural and historical foundations. Principles are sought which will make the students more effective in their witnessing.
