WORLD BAPTIST FELLOWSHIP (WBF)

Arlington Baptist College is supported by the World Baptist Fellowship, an association of independent fundamental Baptist churches. The College serves as the educational arm and as an extension of the world outreach for the local churches of the Fellowship.

 

 

     
 

ABHE

 

THE ASSOCIATION FOR BIBLICAL HIGHER EDUCATION (ABHE)

Arlington Baptist College has been an accredited member of The Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE) (formerly the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges – AABC) since 1981. ABHE is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA), the successor to the Commission on Recognition of Post-secondary Accreditation (CORPA), which dissolved December 31, 1996. ABHE is also listed by the United States Department of Education as the recognized accrediting agency for Bible college education. In addition, it is recognized by the Department of Justice, the Texas Veterans Commission (formerly the Texas Workforce Commission), and other relevant federal agencies in the United States.

AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF COLLEGE REGISTRARS AND ADMISSIONS OFFICERS (AACRAO)

The College's registrar is an affiliate member of the American Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers. AACRAO establishes criteria for credit transfer practices and professional assistance in recruiting, admissions standards, and preservation of records.

 
     
 

ASSOCIATION OF CHRISTIAN SCHOOLS INTERNATIONAL

Arlington Baptist College is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) which provides Christian school certification.

THE COORDINATING BOARD OF THE TEXAS COLLEGE AND UNIVERSITY SYSTEMS

The Coordinating Board, Texas College and University System, is authorized by the Texas State Legislature to establish standards and criteria for degree granting institutions. The Coordinating Board has determined that Arlington Baptist College has authority to grant degrees in the State of Texas by virtue of its fully accredited status through The Association for Biblical Higher Education (formerly the Accrediting Association of Bible Colleges).

 
 

 

 
 

SBEC

TEACHER CERTIFICATION

Arlington Baptist College is approved by the Texas State Board for Educator Certification (SBEC) to offer the following programs: Generalist EC-4, Social Studies 4-8, Social Studies 8-12, English, Language Arts & Reading 4-8, English, Language Arts & Reading 8-12, and an All-Level Music Education Program.

TEXAS VETERANS COMMISSION – VETERANS EDUCATION

The Texas Veterans Commission (formerly the Texas Workforce Commission) – Veterans Education has approved that eligible students enrolled in an Arlington Baptist College course of study may receive assistance provided through the Department of Veterans Affairs.
